Should I continue on easy just to see the end of the story? I'm waiting for the moment where everything about the game design clicks, especially the levelling up system. I've heard the story is one of the best in any tales game but that alone isn't enough. And I absolutely hate the new levelling up system. It doesn't feel like a journey like xillia or most other jrpgs. I don't even mind the reused areas but progressing through this world is so badly designed. I really want to finish it and then judge it, but it's becoming harder to continue. The story chapters and the companion quests have been good, but there is an abrupt shift in momentum and pacing the moment you are required to do the fetch quests to pay the debt. The silent protagonist thing is so weird and awkward during cutscenes and skits. There is no sense of adventure, no natural progression. Nothing about this game design feels natural, it's way too.mechanical. From the awful debt design, to the broken up segmented chapter structure of the game and the small number of skits. I've finished around 7 chapters so far and it has been an abysmal experience. I'm wondering why xillia 2 gets praise on the Internet. ![]() ![]() well take a good look at Reiner.Īnd again this is rookie Eren landing these hits. This is also assuming that Eren doesn't just dodge it with his increased skill.įinally Eren does land a huge punch on her in spite of this that he is unable to follow up on due to said leg. Which wouldn't work now as we have seen that Eren use his hardening so quickly as catch Reiners punches and block the Warhammer hardening. She uses a hardened kick to sweep his leg. Had Eren had hardened fist for that shot she would have bisected. Even then she does try to take down Eren with hardened punches before that and gets ragdolled in return. She only did that while Eren was utterly stunned by realizing it was her. However, as soon as she got serious and used her fighting style, she just sliced Eren's head off. Probably so that Eren doesn't find out her identity as easily. Also no she was using her fighting style to a T In fact IIRC one of the Female Titans main traits is endurance. She also seemed to not be using her usual fighting style. Where does the notion that Annie's barely above season 1-3 Eren in combat come from? She has years of martial art training above him and went through twice as much military had been running for miles, fought a bunch of scouts, it was her second transformation, she fought Levi squad and she had one eye missing and her arms sliced for a part of the fight. We literally see Annie stomp rookie Eren and Reiner during their training as cadets. Eren was given a 9/10 while Annie was given a 10-11/10. Then in the manga, where there's no PIS of any sort (unlike in the anime) and they had a fair rematch, Annie basically takes Eren out in two hits.Ĭlearly, their combat stats also make it clear that Annie's more skilled than Eren. Win the battle early and the reinforcements will never show up. ![]() While there’s missions where you can technically win by getting in and securing an objective, it’s almost always quicker and easier to just wipe out the enemies as fast as possible, especially if reinforcement waves are due to arrive. There’s only a handful of map types (hills, villages, towns, industrial complexes and military bases) and aside from there being proximity-activated turrets in bases (solved by letting enemies come to you), they’re functionally identical in most regards. This wouldn’t be such an issue if there was more variety to the missions and battlefields. It felt like I was bullying the AI and, even as their stats inflated, they couldn’t do anything meaningful to counter my intensifying cheese. Enemies are also unable to use or react to melee weapons (or at least never did in my campaign), letting me just combo sword attacks against helpless foes when my hail-of-lead strategy was getting boring. In almost every battle they’d just run out of cover to engage me, even if they had indirect-fire missiles. ![]() I was a mindreader able to predict their every move, but I often didn’t have to. Also, if Apple subsidizes the cost of the repair parts since they can rework a portion of the failed ones and then certify them for repair use later, it seems fair to not pass that cost savings off to someone that isn’t returning same quality parts back into the “repair pool”. The technician is on the hook for a limited warranty so the only time when Apple or a certified center rejects a repair is when they can’t guarantee the repair for the time Apple specifies or they can’t complete the repair with the parts budgeted for that repair. With batteries and hardware, as long as there’s not case or connector damage and the part is scrapped, there’s little benefit to Apple not doing the repair. So yes, Apple typically does all it can to cover a repair even when it has the clear right to not perform service in my experience. In practice, the worst that happens is you get a call mid-repair and an explanation why the repair will cost more or why the repair isn’t being completed. If you decline authorization, Apple may return your product unrepaired in the damaged condition without any responsibility. ![]() If damage results, Apple will seek your authorization for any additional costs for completing service even if the product is covered by warranty or an AppleCare service plan. Apple will not be responsible for any damage to the product that occurs during the repair process that is a result of any unauthorized modifications or repairs or replacements not performed by Apple or an AASP. During the service ordering process, you must notify Apple of any unauthorized modifications, or any repairs or replacements not performed by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”), that have been made to your product. I’ve seen this language in the legal agreements since the 90s and can’t source earlier documents to see when it actually started.ġ.11.6 Disclosure of Unauthorized Modifications. One typical issue is when aftermarket parts are used, that generally is something you have to fix outside of warranty before Apple will service - but again, it depends highly on the work being done and if Apple expects to rework the parts in your device or the unauthorized repair materially makes Apple’s job harder or more expensive.Īpple has always reserved the right to only cover under warranty (and their service plans like AppleCare) authorized repairs that use certified parts. The reasons to deny service are usually relayed to damage or failed service not that a qualified or unqualified person did good or proper service previously on the phone. Yes - Apple generally services any device or explains why they cannot after it’s entered in for service. Is there any more information, perhaps directly from Apple, about what is allowed for servicing? So this article suggests (without a source) that only recently an iPhone with a third-party battery or screen replacement is eligible for repairs. Before, Apple policies stated that customers were ineligible to receive any kind of repair service if their iPhones were previously repaired with any non-original, third-party components, meaning you’d be taking a big risk by replacing an iPhone battery yourself.īatteries are the latest third-party components to be accepted by Apple’s rigid repair policy, as the company changed its policy to accept iPhones with third-party displays for repair in 2017. ![]() IPhones with third-party batteries are now eligible to be repaired at Genius Bars and Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASP), according to internal Apple documents reportedly obtained by MacRumors and French outlet iGen. Here are some snippets (my emphasis added): The reason I am asking about this is because of an article on the Verge published in March 2019 linked here. I understand a third-party repair will void the warranty on an iPhone, but I have not been able to find any definite information about whether they void all future repairs/servicing from Apple. Can I take it to Apple and pay them the money to replace the battery with their own OEM part? I use it for a few months but it degrades much faster than an OEM battery. If an iPhone previously had its screen/battery/camera repaired by a third-party but it works fine afterwards, will Apple service the iPhone?įor example, let's say that my iPhone battery went bad so I went to a cheaper third-party store to have it replaced (likely with a non-OEM battery). |
